What this site stores about you

Last updated 2026-09-04

OTPScout is a personal League of Legends analysis tool run by one person. It is free, has no ads and no trackers, and sells nothing. This page lists everything it keeps, where it comes from and how long it stays.

Your account here

A username and a password, and nothing else — there is no email field, so the site cannot contact you and has no address to lose. The password is never stored: what is kept is a PBKDF2-SHA256 hash over a random per-account salt, 200,000 iterations. Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language preference; nothing else is set, and none of it is used to track you.

League data

When you link a Riot account, the site fetches its ranked Solo/Duo history from the official Riot Games API and keeps it: the account's PUUID and Riot ID, and for each match the champions, roles, outcome, timings, items, runes and the per-minute figures the analysis is built from. Nothing is scraped and nothing comes from anywhere but Riot's own API. Raw match payloads are cached for 180 days and then deleted; the extracted rows stay, because they are the analysis.

What you write

Champion notes, scouting lists and groups are stored against your account and are visible only inside it. They are not published, not indexed and not shared with other accounts unless you put someone in a group yourself.

Where it lives

One SQLite database on the server side, reachable over HTTPS only, backed up daily. The web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, time, path, user agent — which are used to see whether the site is up and are not joined to your account.

Deleting it

You can unlink a Riot account at any time from the accounts screen. To remove the account here and everything attached to it, ask the operator and it is deleted outright — there is no soft-delete and no archive copy. Because there is no email address on file, the request has to come from inside the signed-in account.
